The Little Manhattan Project was in residence at the Museum of Croydon between 6th December – 23rd February 2024
The exhibition included a creative interpretation of the major buildings of Croydon’s post-war architectural era and comprised of hundreds of prints inspired by its iconic buildings. Becci Kenning of Art in Transit worked with community participants of all ages to make towering pieces of art.
Digital posters containing links to newly composed soundscapes reflecting the urban landscape were created by young people from Play for Progress, a Croydon-based charity that delivers therapeutic and educational music and arts programmes, advocacy, and well-being support for traumatised and socially-isolated unaccompanied minor refugees.
